How B2PWeb strengthens user security on the freight exchange
EN Chez B2P, la sécurité est un enjeu de taille que nous plaçons au centre de nos priorités. Sur la bourse de fret, plusieurs dispositifs ont été conçus pour vous protéger contre les risques de fraude.
Securing exchanges :
Check the identity and contact details of the person you are in contact with:

Ask your contact to click on the“Send your details to the submitter” button. This button is available on the offer they have consulted. This will trigger the sending of an email by B2PWeb containing the secure contact details controlled by B2PWeb during registration.
Check that the carrier has consulted your offer on B2PWeb before contacting you:

Access the list of carriers who have consulted your freight offers. You can also assess the attractiveness of your offer and be proactive in your search for charterers.
Check legal documents for compliance with regulations:

Ask your contact to click on the“Choose your documents to send to the depositor” button. This button is available on the offer they have consulted. This will trigger the sending of an email by B2PWeb containing all the legal documents verified by our services: licenses, insurances, Kbis extract, certifications, etc.
Internal control of new subscribers :
Control and security for new subscribers:
- Verification of the company’s existence in the commercial register,
- Check that the company is registered in the business directory (licenses),
- Legal documents must be presented at registration: Kbis – License – Insurance (valid),
- Control and lock all contact details (phone, fax, email),
- Individual login and password for each user.
Tighter controls for foreign companies :
- Intra-Community license required,
- Presentation and control of two references with French carriers.

Internal subscriber tracking :
Tracking users and access codes :
- A minimum of two follow-up calls per year, during which the list of users is updated,
- Secure access creation and modification procedures,
- Only the user manager can make a request by email.
Follow-up of transport documents :
- Regular license checks.
Partnership with the GedTrans document management platform:
- Access to documents posted on GedTrans from the B2PWeb directory (subject to GedTrans subscription).

Reminder of cyber gestures to adopt:
Phishing involves messages (e-mails, SMS, social networks) or calls from scammers posing as a familiar organization (bank, administration…) or a colleague. These scams aim to steal personal and banking information, download a virus or defraud us directly.
Choose strong, different passwords for each account:
- Use passwords that are sufficiently long, complex and different for each account,
- Keep them secret(don’t share them) and use a secure password manager to store them.
Beware of unexpected and/or alarming messages:
- Always check the sender and links in emails or text messages,
- Always be wary and don’t rush to answer,
- Always check the information yourself, by logging into your account on the service concerned.
